Precautions for purchasing high-angle sidewall conveyor belts
1. During the operation of the sidewall conveyor belt, the base belt is primarily subjected to tension, which plays an important role in its use effect. If the rigidity is low, the conveyor belt will be deformed laterally, resulting in material scattering and other phenomena. The skirt and partition are easily worn in the return section, and the core layer number is usually required to be at least 5-6 layers.
2. Look at the partitions and skirts, and choose according to the conveying volume of the conveyor, and determine the factors such as the skirt height, the size of the partition spacing, and the size of the effective bandwidth.
3. The high-angle sidewall conveyor can operate in an environment with an inclination of 0° to 90°. Reaching the unreachable transportation angle further reduces the project cost, shortens the transportation distance, and saves manpower and material resources. The high-angle sidewall conveyor should use a cover belt when the angle exceeds 80 degrees (the advantage of using the cover belt is to avoid leakage of materials to damage the base belt; at the same time, it can also increase the transportation volume of materials). 4. The requirements for rollers of high-angle sidewall conveyors are much higher than those of flat belts. If the same type of belt is used, the roller type used is larger than that of flat belts. 5. Base belt: The base belt of the corrugated sidewall conveyor belt is mainly subjected to tension, but its lateral rigidity also plays a great role in the performance and effect during use. If the rigidity of the conveyor belt is too small, the conveyor belt will be deformed laterally, resulting in material spillage and other phenomena. Add a lateral rigidity layer to increase the lateral rigidity of the base belt (such as using CC-56 cotton canvas core conveyor belt, tearing strength 56N/mm, core layer number at least 6 layers - including 6 layers, upper cover rubber thickness = 4.5mm or more, lower cover rubber thickness = 1.5mm or more).
