How should the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt be maintained?
Anti-skid pattern conveyor belt is a conveyor belt used more frequently in the industrial industry. It is basically used in many industries. It adds patterns on the base belt, which gives the conveyed products an anti-skid effect. When conveying some slippery products, there is no feeling of sliding down.
The surface of the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt is added with herringbone pattern, cross pattern, grass pattern, grid pattern, inverted triangle pattern, horseshoe pattern, sawtooth pattern, small dot pattern, diamond pattern and other patterns, etc. These conveyor belts also need to be maintained. Only good maintenance can make the conveyor belt durable. So how should the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt be maintained?
1. During transportation and storage, the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt should be kept clean and avoid sunlight or rain and snow, avoid contact with chemical substances such as acid, alkali, crude oil, solvent, and keep it 1 meter away from heating equipment.
2. During storage, the warehouse temperature should be kept between 18-40℃, and the air humidity should be kept between 50-80%. During the storage period, the conveyor belt must be stored in a roll and cannot be folded. It should be turned over once a quarter during the storage period.
3. Conveyor belts of different types, specifications and layers are not suitable for jointing. The joints are best connected by gluing.
4. The type, structure, specifications and layers of the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt should be used scientifically and reasonably according to the use standards.
5. The relationship between the diameter of the drive roller of the belt conveyor and the cloth layer of the conveyor belt, the supporting facilities of the drive roller and the roller, and the requirements for the groove angle of the buffer roller should be scientifically and reasonably selected according to the design requirements of the belt conveyor.
6. The feeder should be located in the direction of the running direction of the conveyor belt. In order to reduce the impact of the material on the conveyor belt when it falls, a chute should be used to reduce the material falling distance; the material receiving section of the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt should shorten the buffer roller spacing and use buffer rollers for leakage. The belt should be used with a soft and appropriate baffle plate to prevent the baffle plate from being too hard and scratching the belt surface of the conveyor belt.
7. The running speed of the anti-skid pattern conveyor belt should not exceed 5.0 m/s. When transporting large-block and abrasive materials and using fixed plow-type unloading equipment, the speed should be as low as possible. Exceeding the specified speed will shorten the service life of the pattern conveyor belt.
