The safety factor of fabric core conveyor belts is generally 10 or more, while that of steel wire core conveyor belts requires 6-7. If the joints are reasonable and the transportation start is reasonable, it can be reduced to 5.

3. Steel wire core conveyor belts are suitable for the needs of modern transportation with long distances, large transport volumes and high speeds. They can eliminate or reduce the transport points, and the wear and power loss of the belts are relatively small.

4. Steel wire core conveyor belts have small elongation and short tensioning stroke.

5. Steel wire core conveyor belts have good troughing performance and good linear running performance. More materials can be transported with the same bandwidth and belt speed.

6. The steel cord conveyor belt has good dynamic performance and can be used to convey high-weight and large-block ores. The steel cord is buried in the rubber compound. During the vulcanization process of the rubber compound, it is wrapped, penetrated and bonded with the rubber compound, so that the steel cord and the rubber are firmly combined. Its impact resistance and service life exceed those of the fabric core belt. If a transverse reinforcement layer is added, greater impact resistance can be obtained.

7. The joints of the steel cord conveyor belt can have the same tensile strength and service life as the belt.
