Conveyor belt repair strip precautions
1. Bubbling:
1. The surface of the conveyor belt is not polished evenly, and air is left in the bonding surface.
2. The thickness of the glue is uneven, the thin glue layer dries first, and the solvent in the thick part has not evaporated completely, and the initial bonding strength is not formed, resulting in false adhesion.
3. The compaction is uneven when the air is discharged after bonding. (Use compaction rollers or hammers intensively from the middle to the surroundings.)
2. The adhesion is not firm:
1. After the glue is applied, the glue is not fully dried until it is not sticky, resulting in insufficient evaporation of the solvent in the glue.
2. The glue is not applied correctly, and the glue is not applied sufficiently to the edge seams.
3. During bonding, the glue surface is contaminated by hands or other factors, and loses its activity, resulting in insufficient bonding strength.
4. The static curing time is not enough.
